Successful Wedding?
A wedding is a ceremony and associated rituals by which two people vow to spend their lives together in marriage. Though it is basically a celebration of love and partnership, it may have legal and/or religious significance – such as signing a state marriage license or a religious document such as a ketubah, or asking for God's blessings upon a marriage before Him.
But a wedding is not just about the couple getting married.
It is also an exchange between that couple and their community of family and friends. It is a moment whereupon the couple vows to be together as a pillar of support, and simultaneously thanks their community for supporting and loving them. By attending a wedding using Royal Luxury limousine services, the guests are also agreeing to uphold this couple in their marriage together. A couple may ask their guests to take a community vow of support.
Following the ceremony, a couple may have a wedding reception or party, which might include a meal. Traditionally, NY wedding cake is served, which historically was a symbol of fertility, but today more typically is used to express hopes for a sweet life for the couple. Some people choose to have music and dancing, including the couple's symbolic first dance and family dances such as the father-daughter dance.
Tips on booking your wedding Transportation:
Book your limousine at least 6 months in advance prior to your big date
If you're getting married in April, May or June—also known as prom and graduation season—formal vehicles will be in high demand, so you'll need to book your transportation even earlier. 9 months is recommended. For winter weddings you will be OK with 3 month advance hiring best limousine company.
Stretch limo is not the only way out
A limousine works well with a traditional glam wedding, but if that's not what you like, get something exotic. Whether you want a unique getaway to express your style or a fun way to give your bridal party and guests a lift, there are lots of options for hire. Some transportation ideas to get you started: vintage Rolls-Royce, Modern Rolls Royce Phantom, vintage 1933 Packard or if you are on the budget - get an affordable lead car like a BMW, Mercedes or Audi.
Give your bridal party a break!
Technically, you're not required to provide transportation for your bridesmaids and groomsmen for the entire night. Giving them the chance to celebrate without worrying about finding their own war is a nice gesture. Then at the end of the night, the group can pile into a guest transportation shuttle home or back to the hotel.
Don't leave your guests stranded
Consider providing your guests with a ride from their hotel to the wedding and back. That way, no one has to worry about navigating or choosing designated drivers or driving drunk. Limousine or charter bus or shuttle, which holds up to 55 passengers, will usually do the trick most most people (it can take a couple trips).
Plan to pay for wait time
Most limo companies charge by the hour and require a minimum booking, typically 3 hours. In most cases, this means that you'll contract them for the full day. Either way, calculate the total hours needed from the pickup at home to the end of the beginning of reception, to determine whether it's worth it to pay for the wait to pickup you up after reception. Expect to pay between $50 and $150 per hour, plus a 20 percent tip. If it's not included, a $50 tip for each driver will cover your bases.
Expect and get some extra time
Being late because of traffic can ruin a regular day, and it can really put a damper on your wedding. Make some extra time onto the long island wedding limo pakcage in case of unexpected delays caused by hair/make up people or traffic. If you want to be extra cautious, take a test run entire route at the same time and day of the week of your wedding to use as your guide. Keep in mind, big limos above 10 passengers dont run on Parways in the state of NY. So travel may take extra time because those vehicles are commercial and have to use commercial routes.
